El (ayl) Echad (Eh-kahd):  The One God.  “Echad” means “one” in Hebrew and hearkens to the Shema prayer.

“Have we not all one father?  Hath not one God EL created us?  Why do we deal treacherously deal we covertly every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?”  Malachi 2:10
