El (ayl) Shadday (shad-DAI):  God is All Sufficient, to Meet My Needs.  “Shad” means “breast” in Hebrew.  El Shadday is like a nursing mother nourishing me.

“And when so be it, Abram was a son of ninety years and nine years old, the Lord appeared toYAHU’AH was seen by Abram, and said to him, I am the Almighty God I - El Shadday (shad-DAI); walk before me at my face, and be perfectintegrious.  And I will make shall give my covenant between me and between thee, and will multiply shall abound  thee exceedinglymightily mighty.”  Genesis 17:1-2
